44Usurper is a brand new game from Pugware that plays like Castlevania with Dark Souls mixed in. The gameplay takes place on a 2D plane and is a combination of combat and platforming. The game recently came out on Steam and since then I have been hooked. This game is hard as heck and is amazing!

Synopsis:
In London you are a knight who died fighting the Navigator. The Navigator is in charge of the Citadel and working with Walthem you are attempting to kill him. The game is a mix of Dark Souls and Castlevania. You will attempt to traverse the Citadel using weapons and magic to defeat enemies. Bosses are tough and unforgiving.
In order to succeed you will need to preserve stamina and guard while dodging attacks. Each time you fail you will lose all your currency and must return to the spot to retrieve them. Weapons are varied and leveling up allows you a better opportunity to succeed. You can also recruit followers and helpers!
