Let's Play Striving for Light: Survival, Ep. 2 | Action Roguelike Gameplay
8Wobblerocket returns to Striving for Light: Survival, the action roguelike from Igniting Spark Games. This time, we're venturing into Eternal Sands Tier 3, with the Unknown Wanderer (female), Magic Shield, and Dark Staff.
This style of action roguelike game, popularized by Vampire Survivors, has really taken off this year. Striving for Light: Survival is quickly becoming one of my favorite action roguelike games of 2023.
Although we struggle with damage a little early on, the build really comes together later on after we pick up some Projectile Multiplicator and Additional Projectile nodes on the expanding Path of Exile-style passive tree. At the end of the map, we face off against the massive Bleak Worm boss, but the piercing bolts from our Dark Staff make quick work of the monstrosity.
