However, I need to clarify something. It is possible to finish the game with one survivor, although it's probably the hardest ending to get. You do have to have at least two people still alive at the start of the final battle to have a chance at winning, just to make sure you can carry all the items needed, then have one of them die during the battle, and hope that you've already used their items when it happens. This makes more sense later, trust me.
