Released on the PS2 in 2003 by Taito and XS games Mobile Light Force 2 is the North American localization of the very popular Japanese arcade shoot'em up Shikigami No Shiro. (AKA Castle Shikigami 1)

In Mobile Light Force 2 you can control any one of six characters who can use either their standard attack, screen clearing bombs or their psychic power (Shikigami Powers) to cut through hoards of demons that are trying to take over Tokyo.

Mobile Light Force 2 is know as a "grazer" style shoot'em up. This means that the closer you get to enemy fire, the more powerful your return fire will be. Mobile Light Force 2 is a short game that can be beaten in under 30 minutes. It consist of only 5 levels, each containing 3 parts. However you will find that the "normal" mode is enough to test your skill and with multiple difficulty settings Mobile Light Force 2 contains a lot of replay ability.
