In this Let's Play video, you will see me play The Diner At The End Of The Galaxy (Steam Next Fest). The Diner At The End Of The Galaxy is a Space Restaurant management simulation Tycoon Sim game with some Galactic Civilization Conquest Strategy elements. You are the owner of a Diner at the end of the Galaxy in which you try to build up from scratch. In this galaxy, there are Factions that are at war with each other and you're caught in the middle serving them your delicious menu dishes. To win the game, you need to build up restaurant like a Tycoon business sim game and use your money to fund one of the factions of your choice in taking over the galaxy. You only need to be on friendly status with the dominating galaxy. The Diner At The End Of The Galaxy shares similar game mechanics as Galacticare, Two Point Museum, Sintopia, PlateUp!, Two Point Hospital, Exogate Initiative, Hotel Architect, Evil Genius 2, Mars Attract, Blood Bar Tycoon, Mind Over Magic, Theme Park, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Fable Hospital, Inn Tycoon, and Tavern Keeper. Conqueror the galaxy through feeding your friendly faction which has that Anvil Saga like mechanic and Dungeon Inn. The Galaxy Conquest aspect of the game has some Galaxy Civilization and Sins of a Solar Empire vibes to it. The theme of the game reminds me of The Hitchhiker's Guide the Galaxy, Rick and Morty, Futurama, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Wars. There are some interesting game mechanics in this game such as being able to hire your Patrons (Customers) instead of trying to hire them from a generated Staff list. You'll need to grow your own ingredients with a little garden and mix match them to find the right dishes to serve your customers. This is somewhat like Abra-Cooking-Dabra in many ways. I definitely recommend adding this game to your Wishlist and keep an eye out for more development.
