0We randomly talk to a bunch of people on the street, none of whom know what we are babbling about. Getting desperate, we talk to an insane man doing the monster mash who happens to know exactly where to go!
Of course, to get the MacGuffin, we first need to get another MacGuffin that is entirely unrelated to the other one! We are told to go to Stonekeep before being brutally mauled by wolves, orcs, skeletons, and Homer Simpson with a meat cleaver.
Eventually we make it to a prison system, but run out of room to carry all our stuff (not weight, just ran out of room). Maybe this is because I am obsessed with picking up Daggers that cost one gold? In any event, this event causes us to have to return to town. Well, now at least I have so much gold that I don't even know what to do with any of it!
We also spend a bit of time fixing up some issues including the clunkiness of the game, which is fixed by speeding up the cycles enough so that the pace appears to be more fluid. Looking online on how to jump, I also got a control scheme for Dosbox that basically changed my letters around (thus why my saves suddenly make no sense, I could fix this with the Alt key remember) so that I have a much better key layout. No gameplay is changed, just the functionality of the keys, meaning I now have WASD key support and the ability to jump with the spacebar instead of Shift-J, the most unintuitive setup ever with the amount we seem to be expected to jump.
