0Returning to Mabe Village after completing the Tail Cave. Turns out that Lady Bow Wow's pet has been kidnapped by Moblins. By this point you should have a good chunk of Rupees collected. At the Crane Game shop in town,you can win a Yoshi Doll to start the trading side quest. You can trade that to a family on the north side of the village for a Ribbon. The Ribbon can be traded to a small Chain Chomp near Bow Wow's house for Dog Food. You can also play the fishing minigame in Mabe Village for 10 Rupees. Catch the big fish on the lower right hand side of the water for a Heart Piece. You can also now jump to another Heart Piece near the Witch's House on the way to the Moblin's Hideout. Clear out the Moblins and their leader to get Bow Wow back! You can also visit the Camera shop nearby if you feel like it. With the Chain Chomp in tow,you can now enter the nearby dungeon in the Swamp,the Bottle Grotto. The treasure of this dungeon is the Power Bracelet! It allows Link to push and pick up certain objects,like jars. There's one particular room that may give you trouble in this dungeon. You have to kill a Pol's Voice (rabbit thing),Keese (bat),and then the Stalfos in the room to make a staircase appear. The boss of this dungeon is called Genie. Dodge his fireballs and wait for him to retreat into his bottle,then pick it up with the Power Bracelet it and slam it into a wall. Do this a few times and the bottle will break,allowing you to attack him normally with your Sword. You get the Conch Horn Siren Instrument for winning!
