In Episode 2 of Ocarina of Time I make my way through the hyrule field over to hyrule castle. We are told by the deku tree to find princess Zelda because an evil force is trying to take over hyrule. Upon leaving the kokiri forest we meet with Saria who is sad that we must depart. She gives us a fairy ocarina as a departing gift and tells us to play it if we need to reach out to her. We enter the Hyrule field and meet with a giant talking owl who is there to guide us through our quest to save Hyrule. Once we make it to town, we meet a young girl named Malon who informs us that her Father, Talon, hasn't been seen in quite a while. Apparently he had gone up to the castle to deliver milk and he hasn't returned yet. Before we leave she gives us a chicken egg which hasn't hatched yet.
We have to sneak past the guards outside of Hyrule castle in order to make it over to the right outside portion. Once we get there we see a man sleeping on the ground. He will not wake up no matter how many times we speak to him so we take a different approach. By some miracle a chicken hatches from our egg and we use it to wake up Talon. He finally wakes up and tells us that he was delivering milk to the castle and fell asleep. He rushes out to go find his daughter Malon. We then notice a small passage that leads into the castle. We jump across and head inside but once inside we realize that reaching princess Zelda will be challenging. There are many guards stationed in the different rooms leading to princess Zelda's courtyard. We sneak by the guards easily and make our way inside the courtyard.
Off in the distance stands a small figure with blonde hair. As we approach we realize that we have finally found the princess. Once we meet she is shocked to see us and tells us about how she had dreamt of a boy that looked like us in a dream. The dream she explained was very similar to Links dream sequence at the start of the game. This is when we realize that there must be some kind of connection between the two of us. Zelda also explains that she senses great destruction coming to Hyrule. She has a premonition and fears that her dream symbolizes the demise of Hyrule. She fears that a man named Ganondorf is planning to take over Hyrule and that it is up to Link and herself to stop him. She sends Link out to go and find the remaining spiritual stones in order to stay one step ahead of Ganondorf. They must stop him from obtaining the Triforce and getting into the Sacred Realm.
