I picked this game up from the Racial Justice bundle from itch.io.

This is actually the first ARG I've ever really played. I've dabbled in a couple large-scale ones, but my interest usually fades after about 20 minutes. The Missing Locksmith is great in that as a single player experience (or if you have chat as I did) it's just difficult enough to force you to slow down and think things through, without getting overly obtuse. I say all this knowing that I did not solve the ARG on stream due to Instagram kinda being a jerk.

I did eventually solve it off camera after a bit of back and forth with the creator, as well as using my logged in Instagram app on my phone. This isn't a spoiler really, as I spend mmmmm 30 minutes or so just trying to (and failing to) find the account.

In any case, this is a great little ARG, and I'm happy with the time I spent with it. Depending on third-party platforms can cause some issues though, so if you're going to make an ARG, just uh, just look out for that.
