Let's Play The Organ Trail - TDC 12: Clement's Quest
234Now that I've managed to reach safe haven it's time to see what other game modes are available in the Organ Trail.
The first of these is a mini game that in inspired from a separate little game made by Justin Smith (who also made a game called Enviro bear 2000 which I quite enjoy) which is based around the original Oregon Trail... vaguely. Instead of taking the route that you're meant to, the group decide that journey is silly and instead head off to Eldorado. It's a simple physics game where you have to get to Eldorado without losing all the people in your wagon, avoiding various perils and trying to remain upright as you scale sheer mountains in your quest to get there as fast as you can.
Clement's Quest is a different version of this concept, taking the same rough route you take in the campaign from Washington DC to Safe Haven with a few surprises thrown in. You have to run down zombies who will block your progress if you don't have enough speed when you hit them. All in all it's quite fun in small does and completing it does unlock a playable character in the Organ Trail, one I hope to use in the next game mode if I can unlock it.
