16Let's Play The Sims 4: First Impressions - Part 1! We get our First Impressions on The Sims 4 Gameplay in the first part of our playthrough.
The GameFace Crew settles into our new house, and our sims engage in some light chatting, grilled cheese cooking, and rock out at the club with the Mario Bros, the Game Grumps, and BornLosersGaming!
We don't know how to look for a job, so we're all unemployed. I noticed you can see the pee stream when the guys stand up to pee. That's exciting.
So far I'd say my impressions are relatively positive. I think the Sims Character Creator is pretty damn impressive. The amount of detail you can edit is very cool. I do wish there was more hair options, and some more clothes... but I'm sure that will come over time with mods and such. The one thing that I do wish was there is the ability to adjust the sims height.
The build mode seems intuitive. Liking it. And the actual Sim interaction is fun to watch. One problem I always have with Sims sequels is that I end up missing all the cool stuff that was in previous expansions. Sure, eventually it'll be added back in... but we have to purchase new expansions and wait... it's just an ordeal.
I think The Sims 2 still remains my favorite Sims game for now. The Sims 3 and The Original Sims are fun too, but I thought the Modding Scene in The Sims 2 was the most interesting.
I still haven't delved too deep into The Sims 4 yet though, so let's take a look together!
