From the people that brought us Back to the Future and the guys in charge of that show where people yell at eachother for 45 minutes a week and sometimes there are zombies comes one of my favorite games in recent memory.

It's an adventure style game that focuses heavily on character interaction and story telling but still has just enough action and pseudo action elements to make you feel like you're really involved in the game play and your abilities matter. Sometimes they don't and sometimes they do.

The game is great at not letting you know when it's going to hose you like that until it does so. It's like playing DnD with a really experienced DM who constantly has you on the edge of your seat thinking your next roll might well be your last. But the DM knows it won't be your last because there's still a story that needs to be told and it is not yet your characters time to meet his maker.

Also Clementine is cute as a bug and I want her to be my niece so I can spoil her rotten. I really enjoyed almost every character in this. Even Larry (we'll meet him later). If you haven't played this yet for yourself I urge you to do so. It really is an enjoyable experience. I received it myself last year as a Christmas present from a subscriber but didn't get a chance to play it until recently due to it being a truly unfortunate time of year for me to play something that's very likely going to have a sad ending.
I was getting it ready for Halloween and decided to release it a tad early since some other games I'd been hoping for ended up being kind of disappointing.
