Hey everyone!

Welcome back to Basic Level Gaming! Today we head back into the world of Witcher 3. When we left off last week we were headed out to the garrison. We heard a rumor that Yenner had rode in there, and rode out in the night. The road there, was not without incident.

Our first stop was to help an old lady, who was missing her pan. That's right, her frying pan was missing. In the end this little quest gave us some information I think might be relevant later on, but more importantly is we got some food and experience points. Our next stop had us dealing with a pack of wolves. This was nice because i got more familiar with the combat system. Now we finally end up at the garrison to question the troops. They end up offering to trade information for taking out the griffin. I figured the griffin was going to come in somewhere.

We pick up one more side quest from the herbalist to help the injured girl. We go ahead and do it since it seemed like the right thing to do. This lead to having to fight our first Drowner. These seem like drowned zombies to me, and since we are looking for brains it seems to fit.

All in all today was mostly learning a lot of the practical uses for things. We got our first skill when we hit level 2 as well. Oh and as you noticed, we learned what happens when you loot something in front of the guards. Guess I did not need those coins anyways. Autosave saved us one time too.
