2There's no doubt the game has some ambition, trying to combine aspects of strategy games like Civilization and town-building with card-based strategic combat, but the result is a bit of a mess in both areas. Console controls are an issue to begin with but clarity on what's happening in combat both in the planning and execution phases makes it a bit of a conundrum at times.
