Let's Play Thief: Gold (Blind) part 80
Thief: The Dark project was developed by Looking Glass Studios, published by Eidos Interactive, and released in 1998. It is a stealth based first person game, in which you play Garrett, a master thief. That was until I played it, and then Garrett becomes a bumbling, clumsy halfwit.
The Gold edition of this game, which I am playing, adds three new levels, new enemies, and general improvements to the game.
I bought this game on GoG.com. It works fine on Windows 7, 64-bit. Also, as a note, I am not your technical support . Do not think of me as such. Cheers.
While this LP is labelled as Blind, I have had some slight experience of this game many years ago. Since it was so limited and so long ago, I feel justified in calling this Blind.
Are things dark in the video? Well, trust me, it's a dark game. While I don't want it to be so dark that you can't see anything for long periods, turning up the brightness too much ruins all atmosphere and sense of sneaking within the shadows. Thus, there needs to be a happy medium. Within the first few videos the brightness levels may well vary depending what I, and my viewers, feel needs to be done to reach this balance. Once we get past episode 10 or so, it should remain constant.
