Let's Play TimeSplitters 2 Part 8
1Stage 8: Aztec Ruins 1920. Captain Ash had discovered a Time Crystal in the Aztec Ruins of Guatemala,bit it was taken back by a stone golem. Once you find the Crossbow weapon,you can light your Bolts on fire using nearby sources of fire. You'll need to do this to burn down wasp nests,and to kill the Wood Golems in the area too. Not all the Monkeys are friendly around this stage; some of them will toss watermelon bombs at you! When you reach the pillars area,you'll have to solve the puzzle to continue. Spin the pillars so that each face is looking at a similar face on an adjacent pillar,once you've done it correctly the door will open. Follow the path across a bridge and throw the switch in a cave to open up another area. Head through the newly opened area to reach the Temple,fighting newly spawned enemies along the way. Inside the Temple,kill the enemies and find some Armor nearby,then throw a switch behind the stairs to open the path forward. In the next area you'll need to kill some Stone Golems running around. They can't be hurt by your current weapons,so all you can do is lure them over to pit traps and drop them down with the floor switches. I think there's 4 total to kill. Monkeys will also be throwing bombs at you here. Once they're all dead,you'll pick up a Vintage Rifle in the next area with a bridge. You'll have to look at the stone faces here and shoot them as they turn around,there's 7 to shoot total. The bridge extends afterwards and more enemies appear. Fight your way down to the central chamber and you'll find the Time Crystal. Quickly grab that and find the Grenade Launcher and some Grenades on opposite sides of the room; some Stone Golems will be after you again here. Use the Grenade Launcher to kill 'em and the Time Portal will open. Just get out fast before the Splitters get you!
