You can also access the 2 Secret Shops if you have the Member's Card item. One shop sells Physic Staves while the other sells Killer Weapons and Lockpicks! As the turns drag on,much later in the stage there will be Mage,Shaman,and Knight reinforcements that spawn west of the boss. They appear for several turns,so I used them to level up Erk and Canas. The boss is Darin,Marquess of Laus. This powerful General wields a ranged Spear,so he can counter ranged attacks. Sending in Hector with his Wolf's Beil Axe still works wonders,or Dart if you have him. The familiar scene from Eliwood's story plays after Darin's death.
