Story: Our pirate duo survived their meeting with Magnus Blade and returned to Le Puisard where Governor Jim Hawkins was waiting for them and they told Magnus's requested price to Governor. Royal Navy's Council was afraid of that, however, Governor Jim Hawkins spoke with council and discussed their contigency options where his office maintains a set of secret holdings scattered throughout the Twelve Islands in case of emergency. Treasurer is only authorized to release the map of these slush fund locations to the Governor in instances of extreme emergency. The city council has voted unanimously that this qualifies. Unfortunately, none of the Council know how to read nautical cards as that is not a skill that is used much in politics. Therefore, it's up to Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Morgan Adams to gather up the required amount of gold, and they assume that this task wil be made worth their whiles beyond a simple pardon, as they will require financial backing to cover their expenses, cost of labor, ammunition, grog rations etc. Now, the two pirates head for the Salty Dog tavern on Grog Island.
Gameplay: Sequel of Treasure Island called Treasure Island 2 features new elements that were not present in a prequel: Hammer and Hourglass. Hammer can help you break any square on the field, just like Special Golden Coins from Jewel Quest games. Hourglass can give you extra time, use it either when you are about to run out of time or when you have one last square left to turn into blue platinum for bonus points. To collect them, either make them reach the bottom row of the board or by swapping them with an item you currently hold while making a match. Third levels are fairly easy.
