Let's Play Trials of Mana Episode 6: The dumbest cutscene in the game
1We find our first little cactus which is a collectible throughout the game. We will NOT be finding all of them in this playthrough maybe in the last one.
Anyways once you reach the bridge to Altena we're stopped by some Mages of Valsena and if Angela is in the party she takes priority in this cutscene but if you don't you get an even dumber cutscene where they send the robot after you anyways so no Angela it is not all your fault this part is just silly.
Honestly I think the voice acting in this game is usually either pretty good or endearingly cheesy but the Valsenan mages just sound so freaking stupid here.
As for the boss fight well Machine Golem R isn't too hard but they do pack a punch with their attacks and your party members are exceptionally bad at dodging these guys in particular.
Also this fight may lead you to believe this game only has a generic boss theme and a few boss fights with unique music but that's not true there are a lot of different boss themes in this game and soon enough we'll be hearing some of the better ones.
