Let's Play Turok 2: Seeds of Evil - Part 1 - The Port of Adia 1 of 3
So time for some backstory. Before our universe was created, there existed another universe in its place. Among the many lifeforms populating this universe was a race of aliens known as Primagen. The Primagen were supremely intelligent and technologically advanced telepathic beings and yet there was question they had no answer for: Where did all life in the universe come from? One Primagen sought to answer this question by converting his lightship into a time machine. When he activated it, something went wrong and it created an explosion that annihilated his universe and created our own. As his lightship was undergoing automatic repairs after the explosion left it in ruins, The Primagen went into suspended animation in order to wait out the situation. The warped space where the center of the explosion occurred became The Lost Land. Portals from other worlds and time periods soon began pulling masses of land, flora, fauna, humans, and extraterrestrials. When leadership was established in The Lost Land, they became aware of The Primagen's presence and deemed him a threat so they erected a series of energy totems to keep his powers limited and confined to his lightship. When Tal'Set destroyed the Chronosceptor by tossing it into the volcanic Mountain of the Sun, The Primagen awakened. Now 100 years later after assessing his situation, The Primagen has convinced the most malevolent and dangerous races of The Lost Land to do his dirty work by destroying the energy totems. Tal'Set's descendent, Joshua Fireseed, has been summoned by Adon, Speaker of Forever Light, to take on the task of stopping The Primagen from achieving his goals. The first location of Josh's quest brings him to one of several human settlements in The Lost Land, The Port of Adia. It's recently come under attack by genetically engineered dinosaur hybrids, who seek to wipe out humanity as a bonus in exchange for helping The Primagen. Our tasks are to activate the distress beacons so that some other human settlement nearby can send help, then we must rescue children that have been imprisoned in order to be used as tasty snacks for the Dinosoids, third; we must activate warp portals because they hold something special that will benefit us on our quest, and finally we must defend this location's energy totem from enemy attacks.
