Let's Play: Twin Goddesses on the PS1
3Twin Goddesses is a 2D high-fantasy fighting game developed and published by PolyGram for the Sony PlayStation exclusively in Japan on December 22, 1994.
The first fighting game released for the PS1, Twin Goddesses features a mix of digitized actors (for the main characters) and hand-drawn anime-style art (for the backgrounds and other fighters). It also features an RPG-style item system, where players can buy special items pre-match using gold.
The game's plot is set in the fantasy world of LOVERADIANT, where the evil witch Carmilla and her five henchmen has taken over the castle of the King, bringing the whole land into darkness. It's up to the slain King's two twin daughters (Nina and Syllin) to put an end to Carmilla's reign.
