It seems that quite a few of the enemies in this game don't do very well with the doorways in missions that involve bases. While this can be used to your advantage it can also be a huge problem, especially if you don't come equipped to deal with a lot of enemies all at once.

Fortunately the Starghosts don't have as much of an issue with the doors although the spiders can't get through the more narrow ones.
