The Avatar has finally made it to the dungeon Wrong, a place that has undergone a lot of changes since he last saw it in Ultima VII. Now a prison where people are incarcerated, it’s less a dungeon and more a fortress teeming with guard patrols intent on making sure nobody breaks out or in, the latter of which we intend to do. Vasagralem knows of a way we can get inside but once we’re in, we’re on our own and will have to rely on something that you all know I’m not that great at: stealth.

You read that right, folks. We’re going to be using stealth.

Ignoring the fact that a person clad mostly in chainmail is going to make a lot of noise even when trying to sneak, this game isn’t best suited towards stealth, though its failings are mostly in the player’s favour. If the guards manage to catch you, you’ll be thrown in a cell without your equipment, but you’d have to be trying to get caught for that to happen; the guards have a terrible sight radius, de-aggro very quickly and, even when alerted, move very slowly towards you provided you don’t make too much distance. This, coupled with their easy to deduce patrol patterns, makes breaking into the place far simpler than it should be save in the rare instances where the game bugs out and puts you in imminent danger through no fault of your own, something that happens more often than I’d like.
