Returning from Hallowbrook, we report our doings and findings to the prince. In brief, Ming-Xiao framed Nines for Grout's murder - allegedly on LaCroix's behalf - and she also has the key to the ancient loot box. Still denying such an arrangement, LaCroix does call off the blood hunt and proposes and alliance with the Anarchs against the Kuei-jin. While the sincerity of this offer is questionable, the possibility is enough to get Damsel to tell us where Nines went: Griffith Park.

This kicks off the endgame, so we make sure we've got everything we need, including the Dragon's Breath shotgun. Sadly it's a disappointing weapon, ill-suited for the challenge ahead of us. Worse, nobody bothers to tell us why Nines picked the park for a hideout, and boy howdy is that a thing to learn firsthand...
