Let's Co-op Baldur's Gate 3 Part 81 - The Gang's All Here, Mostly (The End)
0It is done! The brain and its thralls are history, along with those bloody tadpoles. All that's left is picking up the pieces and tying up loose ends for our friends. Lae'zel takes up Orpheus' cause, Wyll brings Karlach to Avernus to save her, Astarion's back to hiding from the sun... nothing's ever perfect, but it could've gone much worse. I'd say we've earned a big party to celebrate, and Withers, of all people, is happy to provide one. Even the Dark Urge shows up for it, if not quite in a state to interfere - at least, not until the very end...
Anyway, that wraps up Baldur's Gate 3! Though I have my critiques here and there - the main plot is kind of a mess, ties to previous games are shoddy, it's lacking a good main villain - overall it's a damn fine adventure, and goes about as far as any game in replicating that tabletop atmosphere. In the end we're all here for the journey, for the characters we make and the stories that happen when roll the dice, and BG3 delivers that in spades. If you're on the fence about this but at all enjoy a good tabletop session, pull the trigger and join the party!
As for us, it's been a long project, and it wouldn't have been nearly as special without my co-op team. Krenian, Kriswen, and Sir Fortune, you all were the best a Kevin could've asked for. Thanks everyone for tuning in! We'll see you next time o/
