0Das neunte Kapitel der Kampagne von "Malfurions Quest"
Malfurion, Magtheridon und Velinde sind fast am Mount Hyjal angekommen
und planen ihre nächsten Schritte. Als sie am Fuße des Berges standen, berichtete Velinde, das die Wächter Hyjals mit Hilfe der Drachenschwärme uneinnehmbare Basen errichteten. Die Dämonen belagerten sie, aber konnten gegen ihre Macht nichts ausrichten. Überraschenderweise befindet sich auch Illidan mit Königin Aszhara in der Nähe. Während die Dämonen planen die Naga flankieren zu lassen, hatten diese genau das geplant. Etwas später als Malfurion sein Hauptquartier bezogen hat, greifen die Dämonen und Naga es vor ihn zu stoppen, bevor er das Herz des Berges erreichen kann.
Jeder hatte einen Plan:
-Malfurion und seine Verbündeten wollten bis zum Haupttor vorstoßen und anschließend den Eingang bewachen
- Die Naga unter Aszhara und Illidan flankieren die Dämonenbasen und stoßen mit den Flüssen gen Nordrassil vor
- Die Dämonen sollen Kil'jaeden Zeit verschaffen sodass er zum Weltenbaum vorstoßen kann
-Die Wächter unter dem Propheten Medivh zusammen mit den Drachenschwärmen waren bereit den Baum mit ihrem Leben zu schützen, weil die Eroberung dessen das Ende der Welt bedeuten könnte.
Als die Wächter besiegt wurden, betritt Malfurion das Herz Hyjals. Magtheridon und Velinde kümmerten sich derweil um die Dämonenangriffe unter Kazzak dem Anführer der Streitkräfte der Legion. Magtheridon vernichtete anschließend Kazzak mit Hilfe des Blutes, das Velinde ihm angeboten hatte, was von Malfurion stammte. Als die drei Anführer das Herz erreichten, brach ein heftiger Kampf aus. Aszhara floh wenig später, und Medivh wurde von Malfurion getötet. Anschließend stieß er weiter vor. Als Magtheridon und Velinde wenig später den toten Propheten fanden, verriet der Grubenlord den Ranger... was nicht gut ausging, als Velinde ihn mit einem Pfeil traf der jene verkrüppelt, die von Malfurions Blut tranken. Wenig später wurde er geschwächt und starb aufgrund der Auswirkungen. Velinde reparierte das Tor und stand Wache als Illidan mitbekam dass er verraten wurde...
The ninth chapter of the "Malfurion's Quest" campaign
Malfurion, Magtheridon, and Velinde are almost at Mount Hyjal and plan their next steps. As they stood at the foot of the mountain, Velinde reported that the Guardians of Hyjal were building impregnable bases with the help of the dragonflights. The demons besieged them, but could do nothing against their power. Surprisingly, Illidan is also nearby with Queen Aszhara. While the demons plan to flank the naga, that's exactly what they planned. A little later, when Malfurion has settled into his new headquarters, the demons and naga set out to stop him before he can reach the heart of the mountain.
Everyone had a specific agenda:
-Malfurion and his allies wanted to advance to the main gate and then guard the entrance
- The naga under Aszhara and Illidan flank the demon bases and push towards the rivers into Nordrassil itself
- The demons are supposed to give Kil'jaeden time so that he can advance to the world tree
-The guardians under the prophet Medivh along with the dragonflights were willing to protect the tree with their lives, because conquering it could mean the end of the world.
With the Guardians defeated, Malfurion enters the heart of Hyjal. Meanwhile, Magtheridon and Velinde dealt with the demon attacks led by Kazzak, the leader of the Legion's forces. Magtheridon proceeded to destroy Kazzak using the blood offered to him by Velinde, which was from Malfurion. When the three leaders reached the heart, a fierce fight broke out. Aszhara fled soon after, and Medivh was killed by Malfurion. Then he advanced further. When Magtheridon and Velinde soon found the dead prophet, the pit lord betrayed the ranger... which didn't end well when Velinde struck him with an arrow, crippling those who drank from Malfurion's blood. A little later, he was weakened and died from the effects. Velinde repaired the gate and stood guard when Illidan realized he was being betrayed...
