Let's Play Wasteland 2 Early Beta Part 1 (Look! OLD FRIENDS I HAD FORGOTTEN!)
5Oh man. The years past when I stumbled across the original. Brian Fargo's magnum opus (well, I guess at this point Fallout is really his magnum opus, but that's only because no one knows what Wasteland was and why Fallout existed). When I saw a Kickstarter come up through my feed about Brian Fargo wanting to actually make the real sequel to Wasteland as he acquired the license to do so my little heart skipped a beat and I started throwing my money at the screen.
This has now come to fruition, and here we are with the Early Beta Access. Also, surprisingly unexpected, they gave me a free copy of the original with improved graphics and some "modern support" options. I'm sure I will check it out at some point.
But let's dive in and take a look, shall we? (Also I make some errors in some of the things I say, and I am probably totally wrong, but Finster was the guy I was thinking of, not Max.
Man, when I finish up my LPs that are hanging in the wind I should really take some dedicated time to LP the original.
