Lets Play What Girls Do In The Dark: Sleepover gone wrong in this amazing Text Adventure
In my first proper text adventure game since school, I venture into the house of my best friend’s friend to attend a sleepover but we’re late and apparently, our friends played a sinister game and are nowhere to be found! So, we make our way through the dark house and try to find out whether it’s “open door” or “unlock door” (you will be surprised!).
I had so much fun with this fantastic little game by olivebranche. I got one out of three endings, so even if you watched this, you can still discover more, it’s really fun to play and if you’re stuck, olivebranche will help you out in the comments: https://olivebranche.itch.io/what-girls-do-in-the-dark
Also, this game is part of John Wolfe’s HQ Residential House Game Jam which is a hilarious game jam based on the HQ Residential House that is usually used in indie horror games but in a way that it’s a.) easily recognizable and b.) not really scary. Anywho, the game jam features plenty of games that did something different, so check it out: https://itch.io/jam/hqhousejam
Also, because I mentioned it, here are the rules to M.A.S.H.: https://mashplus.com/how-to-play-mash/
There’s a German version that I remembered from school which is a lot cooler than the American version because you also fold the paper. It’s called “Himmel und Hölle” (heaven and hell, yes, we know how to have fun in Germany) and unfortunately, the instructions are only available in German: https://www.kinderspiele-welt.de/basteln-und-werkeln/himmel-und-hoelle-falten.html
