In this video, I will be playing Wizdom Academy Demo (Steam Next Fest). Wizdom Academy is a Magic School Colony Simulation where you can build your own Wizard School. There is a little bit of a Tycoon element to the game. The school is constantly draining a monthly gold expense, and you must constantly recruit and graduate students to make money. Start by building Classrooms. Hire Staffs and Recruit Students to be educated and trained. Students will need to complete Trials before graduating them with Diplomas to get resources for your school. Use the resources to further expand your school. This game is some what similar to "Mind Over Magic", "Two Point Campus", and "Spell Caster University". There is a Mana Drought mechanic that is similar to "Timberborn" and "Endzone 2". You will need to manage your Mana usage in the game. The Mana usage in this game is somewhat similar to a Power Meter. Each of the rooms in your school requries Mana to function. You can build mana pool (storage for mana like batteries) that can help you survive the Drought. You can also disable some of the rooms too to save on Mana. There is also a Research Tree in which you can unlock new rooms and technologies. To earn Learning Points (LP) to spend on the research tree, you'll need to train students. You need to constantly recruit and train students as quickly as possible to get paid to maintain the expenses. Wizdom Academy has some potential but a bit rough around the edges at the moment. Keep in mind this is just a Demo still. The game will be releasing into Early Access on April 17 (This VOD was streamed live on my Twitch Channel).
