About the game:
Months after a zombie apocalypse, a displaced group of survivors have come to the task to take back the city in an unconventional way, not with machetes and shotguns, but with a fleet of excavators!
After a brief introduction to excavators you'll be in control of a powerful machine to do the dirty work of cleaning up the city, however you'll need to get there first, making your way into the city, destroying barricades, demolishing buildings. The task isn't easy but it has to be done.
Why Early Access?
“I wanna evolve and improve the replayability of the game with the help of the player community. there's a huge potential with this game, i just need some insight.”
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
“6 to 12 months”
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
“The main motive about putting this in early access is to decide what to do with the game. My intention is to make a campaign that immerses and explains what the hell just happened and why you're killing zombies with an excavator!.
However i'm also very open to what the players wanna see in the game so let's see what happens!”
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
“Gameplay wise is fully functional, there's an excavator and you can kill zombies with it:
There's a tutorial and three score based game modes with steam leaderboards
Cleanup - Scoop as much zombies into a container!
Survival - Survive the horde the longest!
Headpop - Pop as much zombie heads as you can!
Lots of polishment, i hate bugs!”
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
“As the campaign or/and content starts to grow price will change accordingly”
How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
“Direct involment in steam forums and a dedicated support email (support at xcavalypse.com) where i personally will assist anybody having issues with the game”
