Let's Play Yggdra Union: The Finale PT60 - "...I'm Sorry. What was That?" ~ Vs. Nessiah!
Bastard's gonna die.
In this episode, we go into Battlefield 47. Nessiah is adamant about getting Ancardia up into Asgard, the realm of the gods. Why? Because they sort of dicked him around one too many times and now he's lost his fudge and wants revenge. How? By manipulating wars and forcing the Gran Centurio to gain unimaginable power to challenge the gods. Because that sword was originally his.
And now he wants it back.
Yggdra's not listening to his crap, and thank God. Time to stop this madman!
Nessiah sics his Astarte at you, demon Valkyries alongside Skeletons and Golems. The monsters are fair game while the Astarte should be your first priority. Not only do they yield Medallions, they are fueling Nessiah's High status. Defeating all three of 'em will make him lose it. Yggdra should be more than a match for them at this point, and hey, you still have a spear user/Dragon Knight Durant, right?
Nessiah's a whole different can of worms. Being a book user is rare enough, but the dude is plenty strong on his own right and he's got a nasty 6,700 Power Reincarnation waiting. For the curious, Reincarnation, when activated, revives all of Nessiah's unit and changes their weapon type to beat the weapon type of his target. Should the target have no weakness, in the GBA version, he'll just swap to a neutral weapon. In this version, he simply won't activate Reincarnation, which sort of works against him as he doesn't revive his unit. Also remember that he voids ailments naturally(though there's an exploit as I talk about).
There's also two items on this map that deserve mention. The first, less important one is the Transmigragem, which ia hidden in the water in the middle; only Nietzsche can get it. It has no purpose other than to rub it in our face that the game forgot about it for this long. The second, much better item is to the right in a little corner of the map. You need the Hyper Drill in your inventory, though. You have to stand on that top square three times, each time triggering a talk. On the third time, you'll use the Hyper Drill to uncover the Fanelia! A godly item that also appeared in Riviera: The Promised Land, the Fanelia raises almost all of anyone's stats and grants them a huge elemental attack boost for all elements. Lasts for only one map and only Lv. 20 units can use it, however.
After Nessiah trolls his last breath, everything should finally go back to normal. But, the island is still rising and the Gran Centurio's still acting up. What could be up in Asgard? Stay tuned.
For next time...
is THE FINAL BATTLE!!
