In this episode, Yggdra and co. advance to Battlefield 31. They've arrived at Lombardia, an area hugging St. Meriata. As they settle in, they notice that a group of holy knights led by a dapper fellow named Gordon are under attack by Zilva's goons. Time to be the hero again...

This part of BF31 is pretty easy, even easier here in the PSP version since the time is fixed at Noon. Gordon is a Temple Knight, another Knight variant that fights with Holy Aggressiveness, voids Holy, and possesses Status Immunity. Helping matters is Gordon's High status, making him very hard to kill. Just watch out for Zilva's Jack Hand, as it has 1-on-1 = Win.

Once Zilva's sent packing, Yggdra introduces herself and her team to Gordon, who reciprocates. Gordon is actually looking for the Pope, Joachim, and has an idea to where he is, so Yggsra offers assistance.

Joachim's location is in an old church, which is smack dab in a sandy path, meaning that you're gonna be wasting time and cards getting there...

...and then Emilia shows up. She makes anything worse by just being there. She's also looking for the Pope, because the Empire needs him to enter the Holy Land. Why? -Just to stop Yggdra from becoming Queen-. Now, this isn't really petty; they're aware that if Yggdra gets this coronation, she'll be able to fight Gulcasa on equal footing(in a sense) - these guys are just -fucking determined-.

Emilia is hard to get to without Kylier able to easily swoop in to get there faster than the others, and Gordon has to be the one to land on the church, so he kinda has to follow, even with his Griffon Rider disadvantage.

So we find the Pope only to be thrown into an actual sectarian brawl. Wonderful...
