Let's Play Ys 8 Episode 11: The Beast beyond the Fog
0Lot of stuff happens in this episode. Reason I waited so long to clear that rubble was because of sir Carlan being useless. If you have Kathleen along the cutscene will be a bit longer and you'll be able to clear out more rubble and continue on.
The Hyuppers are your first supression quest (think of them like minibosses) these are some annoying jerks mainly due to them being level 23 for some absurd reason. More importantly as we make our way through you'll find the first master fish and hoo boy grand anglo can be a doozy to catch.
Continuing on beyond the fog you'll see a very dangerous monster. The Gigatyrannus. DO NOT FIGHT THIS THING it will kill you in 2 shots if your lucky 1 if you're not. Don't worry we'll be killing it later for something kind of important just don't worry bout it for now.
Afterward you can make your way to a dark cave to find another surviving castaway Sister Nia. She'll be helpful later on.
Then at the end of the episode we encounter the edgeboy Hummel. Gee I wonder if the guy shown fighting alongside our main trio in the opening might be important to the story.
