Everyone treats Kipuna as if she is subject to their orders and she is getting tired of it. Topi seems well-intentioned, but he flat just doesn't understand her position at all. When he comes up to Antheor to explain how Kipuna is "lucky" it's like he's trying to speak on her behalf and explain how valuable her aid would be.

Topi... Antheor already wants Kipuna to do the job. He's not who you have to convince. You need to convince Kipuna that she should help you and none of you are really presenting a good argument for her.
