About:
I've been wanting to do something like this for quite a while. The Doom that came to Sarnath is one of my favourite stories by HP Lovecraft. I don't think its plot is exceedingly complex, but the writing has a beauty to it that I could scarce hope to match. I always worry a little bit when I read Lovecraft. He was notoriously racist, but I like to think that the moral of this story was "Don't do a genocide!" and that's probably not a bad lesson to learn.
So I read it out, editted my reading, slapped in some background music from a channel offering it for free, and drew "art" for the background. One Windows Live Movie Maker compilation later I had this here. I kinda like how it turned out, but each time I look at it, I feel a little worse about it. I keep seeing ways I could have improved it. Maybe next time I'll do a little better.
Did you like it? Did I publish garbage and fool myself into thinking it okay? Tell me! Give feedback! Comment! Comments for the comment god! Thumbs for the thumb throne!
