Let’s Replay Covert Action – The Ariane Files [Case 39C]
I haven't spoken much about Red Herring agents during this playthrough. This is because they're rather rare at this difficulty level and those that are about have difficultly pulling you in. This is because very little evidence points their way at the start of a case and while you may get their name, you can easily look that up and be told the person is not involved. By the time stuff about them pops up in filing cabinets, you likely know the identity of everyone involved in a crime, leaving you to disregard the false leads as just that.
Every once in a while, however, a piece of evidence will pop up that will catch you off guard and pique your curiosity. You may be tempted to investigate a person before you look them up on a computer and on higher difficulty levels, you often have to. If you decide to take this risk, make sure you set aside enough time to do so safetly, just in case your excurion is a wasted one. If possible, try to visitt he place while en route to somewhere else, so as to minimise the diversion.
