Well, it's been a fun ride, but scoring this game any higher was actually difficult to do because it seemed that Kojima sacrificed development time in multiple areas to hype up The End, especially from The Pain and The Fear and it means that there are more crappier areas to stack against perfection, so giving a better game mechanics score can't work when one of the major additions is just crowbarred in for the sake of the theme.
Story was great, no major overarching stuff and it was all packed into this game and actually had a non-ambiguous ending that sees the protagonist get away and eventually lose the ultimate objective in the end, which is a dang shame. I had fun with this game despite everything because again this is an MGS game and they're always worth the 20 hour time sink and I'd be glad to play this game again given the chance.
