0Gangers deceptively have the appearance of being the low hanging fruit of the Shadowrun cities. In general, they are pretty horrible in terms of skills and equipment and most legitimate shadowrunners would pretty much tear through them by the handful. However, unless you have friends to back you up, it is best not to go around pissing off the gangs in whichever city you are in. Most of the gangs do grunt work for more powerful groups and there are shadowrunners that hang out with the various gangs and use them for backup. If you have a couple of gangs or power groups you're friendly with, you can generally afford a few scuffles with gangers, but push it and you'll end up having to leave the city.
