With all the accounts...er, accounted for and the clues gathered up, it's time to stand around and yell over each other as we shoot the words out of people's mouths.

Some more new mechanics here. Skills are now purchasable using the hope fragments we gathered, instead of being assigned purely by finishing free time events(although the latter does still exist, but they only get awarded for completely filling out a report card). You get skill points to equip the skills by leveling up.

There is also a new minigame to handle a one-on-one argument that is treated as a sword fight that's interesting and completely new with this game, as well as different colored weak points that you have to shoot to agree with.

The Hangman's Gambit has changed. Instead of just shooting letters as they appear, you've got to pair up letters by catching them and shooting them at copies of themselves, then exploding them to either add them to your phrase or clear them off the board before they make contact with other letters and hurt you.

The closing argument is heavily improved, as you only have to look at a handful of tiles at a time, and you can mouse over the tiles and the empty panels for hints as to what they're looking for.

Bullet Time Battles are still a rhythm based game, but has been simplified enough they can get trickier with the timing and such.

There's one more new addition, but we won't run into that in this trial.
