Let's venture down the the lowest and deepest place we've been to yet. The ancient Basin. This is quite some shady place. We also find something out about those infected creatures as we see them start controlling a corpse or something. Defeating this boss we get the ability to double jump. I also show off one of the dream bosses more or less accidentally.. and.. no chance lol. After continuing to explore as much of the ancient basin as we can we go and use our double jump to explore places we haven't been to yet.But before the stag informs us about a place he found: the stag nest. Intriguing. One of those is in the Fungal Wastes. Our reward for this is a mask shard.. and lots of geos. We also check out another place I had no idea how to get to or at least forgot apparently. This allows us to find an NPC that gives us a soul shard. The next place we explore is the rest of the city of tears.. though we don't seem to get that far. We need to get stronger and better for the encounter with the watcher knight!
