Get ready to start a new fair Dinkum life. Explore an island inspired by the wild Australian outback, featuring tropical eucalyptus forests, scorching deserts, and cool billabongs. Expand your town on an island inspired by the wild Australian outback. Gather resources through hunting, mining, fishing, and foraging. Connect with friends to experience the unique charm of Dinkum.
Cultivate crops for your town across the whole island. Choosing the best spot is essential as each crop has its own ideal season and way of growing. Build fences and raise a variety of animals. They might seem exotic at first, but you'll soon discover how adorable they are. Invite your friends to visit your town where they can help you construct buildings, shop at your stores, or go fishing together. You can also do much more together, like racing emus or fighting crocodiles. Go from starting out sleeping in a bag under the stars, to a sprawling town with farms, businesses, and attractions. Eventually, you'll draw in visitors, who might decide to stay and make it their home too. Make your character and home uniquely yours. Once your home is just the way you like it, invite your friends over to show off your interior designer creds.
Hunt animals for food and defend yourself from deadly predators who are just as hungry as you. Those kangaroos might seem friendly but they pack a punch. Attack creatures head on or capture them with traps, it's up to you how to survive. The island is chockablock with insects, fish, and minerals. So grab your flip-flops and roam around to collect them all. Display your finds in your personal museum collection, or sell them for a tidy profit. Keep your neighbors happy by customizing your town with fences, flower beds, street lamps, beehives, windmills, hedges, fountains, and more. The happier your townsfolk are the more likely they are to settle down and offer unique items.
