Serial Cleaners is a top-down stealth-action game, where you get to experience being a murder scene cleaner for the mob in 1990s New York. Alternate between four cleaners, each with their own unique style, and live their stories.
Serial Cleaners is a single-player stealth action crime story in which you alternate between playing four eccentric mob cleaners taking on the bloodiest jobs the carefree 1990s had to offer. If you remember the nineties differently, their dirty work is the reason why. New York City, New Year's Eve 1999. Four professional cleaners working for the mob gather to drink and reminisce about their careers. As the details of their stories stop matching up, the ugly truth behind their cooperation begins to reveal itself. Get rid of the bodies, make the place spotless, and don't get caught. Plan every step and move like a ghost or trust your reflexes and thrive in chaos. The choice is yours. Alternate between four characters, each with a unique skill set, opening up new possibilities. Serial Cleaners setting, inspired by cult '90s movies, will bring back fond memories of the more carefree decade full of brightly colored optimism and the grime underneath it all.
A story that offers both carefree thrills and a mature subtext, not just a pulpy 90s intrigue full of dark humor, but also a reckoning with the nineties as they were, not just how we remember them. Non-linear storytelling methods, inspired by movies such as “Reservoir Dogs”, “Pulp Fiction” and “Usual Suspects”. Four unique characters with four different playstyles focusing on different aspects of the game, four conflicting worldviews. Unique style, eye-catching art direction inspired by Jean-Michel Basquiat and postmodernism in general. Incredible soundtrack, a collage of wildly different 90s styles: among them, industrial metal, alternative rap, rave, cheesy commercial music and nostalgic funky 70s throwbacks.
