Let's Try Elden: Path of the Forgotten (Demo)
2Here's my Let's Try of the demo of Elden: Path of the Forgotten (PC), an indie action adventure game, in-development by Onerat Games, and published by Another Indie.
In this game, you play as Elden, on a mission to travel across a blighted land to save their mother from ancient horrors.
The way the storytelling is done is non-traditional, mostly using only visual means. The text that is present, is written in a non-decipherable language. This, combined with the graphics and aesthetics, combine to facilitate a darker atmosphere.
As for the combat, it's a slower-paced, more reaction-based affair. You cannot cancel out of attacks, and there's a stamina meter which is drained when attacking or dodging.
The demo was neat. Although, I wish I had a simple map, or there were more landmarks. I got lost near the end.
