So, I've been aware of this hack for a very long time - way before I found out about Sweet Expedition (which I tried out a few days before this).
Like I explained at the beginning, I decided to start with MQ Jr. because it is the same stuff as full MQ, only "with a much more reasonable difficulty curve" (according to the project's Github Readme).
Given that information, it makes sense to start trying with Jr. and going from there.
The first half of this really wasn't that interesting, as it was just a relatively unchanged prologue. Aside from some of the battles being harder, the Prologue was what it always was.
But once we got to starting Chapter 1, things definitely took a turn for the hard side!
You really have to be strategic with your moves, items and badges as well as be accurate with the Action Command.
I expected that, of course, but it's still nice to see some higher stakes even this early in to the hack!
Like with Sweet Expedition, I would like to continue this at some point. When that'll be, I have no idea. But we left off at a good point where I won't be jetlagged if/when I come back.
