PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION

Since I have no mic right now, there's no commentary with this videos. I decided to use this break in my schedule as an opportunity to test out Obivion, since I'm planning on LPing it sometime, to see how it records, how it looks, how long it takes to encode, how big the file sizes are and things like that.

These videos show me taking my level 2 character through a random dungeon, in which he manages to find great wealth! This character is similar (if not a carbon copy of) the character I'll be playing through the LP with. I know I miss a potential Varla stone or two in the first episode - I saw that as I watched it back.

As you'll be able to tell almost instantly this is a modded game, and I'll list the mods I'm using below.

Tell me if the video is too dark (the section is set in a dungeon, so it's supposed to be dark and I quite like it, though messing with the torches all the time is a bit annoying) and what you think of the music and the look and feel of the game.

Below are the mods I've installed, which is what I'll be playing the LP through with. Feel free to suggest mods I could be using too, but there's no guarantee I'll listen to you. I currently have the game running smoothly and it doesn't crash... much... so I don't want to mess with it too much. I'll be playing as a fighter character whose duties as an Imperial Soldier ended when he got sick. Recovering, he set out to find his own way in the world and eventually becomes a warrior of great honour (this will be fleshed out in the actual LP). So bare in mind that, while mods that improve guard behaviour to crimes and make becoming a vampire more realistic may well be very good, they'll be no use to this game and so I won't be using them.I'm mostly looking for mods that add immersion without distracting too much from game play.

Mods and Addons Installed:
Shivering Isles
Knights of the Nine
F:COM: Convergence, (which combines Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, Martigen's Monster Mod, Francesco's Levelled Creatures-Items, and War Cry, along with Bob's Armory)
Deadly Reflex
Kvatch Rebuilt
BT Mod
Unique Landscapes Compilation
Better Cities
Natural Environments
Alternative Start
Quest Popup Removal
Elven Map Redux
Lynge's Unlimited Death Reload Time

I got most of these from the TESNexus website. Don't ask me how to install them. Look for them, download them, and follow the instructions yourself. Like I did.

Also, yes, I have a new computer :-)
