Background:
We are going to use a really simple, yet effective strategy to have a chance against horde that are 20+ levels higher. And that is to use our environment, the friendly NPCs spread around hillsbrad.
In Classic, there are a lot of locations where the enemy faction have quests to do, but the NPCs they are fighting are friendly to you. In the Alliance case, Hillsbrad is full of them. Same with Stromgarde, Nethergarde mine etc.
The most famous of these locations are the Hillsbrad Fields (where WPvP happens quite often). But we are also going to take use of Azurelode mine, Dun Garok (with elite guards) and Dalaran.
Simply ganking horde questing as a high level, will be too easy and... dishonorable. Thats why we will be going there as a level 14! To show the Horde that being low level, doesn't mean you don't have tricks up your sleeve.
By being a priest, and a Night elf, I will be using 2 main things to have a chance against the Horde.
The first is fear (psychic scream). There is nothing that can ruin your day like fear. If you thought of taking it easy while pulling NPCs, an unlucky fear can make your 1v1 turn into a 1v8.
The second thing is Shadowmeld. This will allow Horde to get close enough without detecting us, so we can fear them into large group of guards, with a high chance of wiping them. Aslong as you position your "ambush" at a good location.
If you aren't night elf, I would suggest trying to ressurect ontop of them and instantly fearing. It is more sneaky and easier to do, but repeating this will require a lot of corpseruns!
Also this strategy won't work all the time, since fear can cause the enemies to run the opposite way. And if there are too many horde questing in an area they might have all the guarded safespots destroyed or camped.
Anyway, I did have lots of fun with this! Surprisingly large amount of people that underestimate you and won't attack (or they might mistakenly think you will grant them a dishonorable kill)
