Level: Max - Intangible Objects - Video Game Physics
For our second installment of Video Game Physics we are going to explain Intangible objects.
The basic idea of this is that there are objects (Including yourself and the enemies) that you can simply walk through. Or in many games there are weapons that pass through things and effectively don't exist until you are bashing someone's head with it. In some games (Runescape) you can simply run through enemies as if they don't exist, this is very nice for a quick escape.
The way to abuse this is simple, if enemies are coming at you you can run straight through them to get behind them, you might take a hit or 2, but you'll dodge most of it.
In terms of weapons it's mainly too allow you to make quick turns even in inclosed areas. Or sometimes you can shoot THROUGH walls. In terms of swords it's nice if you want to get one hit in, but it'll be small because the sword (While normally it doesn't) will hit the wall since your actually attacking with it.
