Level Select Cheat: Streets of Rage (SEGA Master System) ✔
A quick demonstration of the Level Select Cheat for Streets of Rage for the SEGA Master System. This cheat is also available on the original SEGA Mega Drive version, but is a much different code. You can also enter a four-letter code on the password screen for each individual stage, but this is an easier and quicker method, not to mention unlocking other hidden features from the main game.

At the character select screen, simply press Right twenty-two (22) times! Yes, twenty-two. Be sure to count them out, and the cursor should land on Axel. To now select which stage to start on, press the '1' button as many times to correspond with the stage number. For example, pressing the '1' button once indicates Stage 2, where pressing the '1' button eight times takes you straight to the Mr. X battle. Pressing the '1' button any more will reset the counter back to Stage 1, so be careful.
Once the Level Select code has been fully entered, simply pick your character to take you to the stage of your choosing. Feel free to enjoy some brief gameplay of Streets of Rage on the Master System. Stage 6 being the factory level as found in the original game.
