To hair or not to hair, that is the question! There has been much speculation on whether or not Jesse Eisenberg will go bald to play Lex Luthor on the big screen and today we may finally have the answer…maybe. Back when Bryan Cranston was rumored to be Warner Bros pick to take on the role of Superman’s greatest foe, it was pretty much assumed that he would be bald. After all, he sported the bald look successfully and nabbed a number of Emmy’s in the process through 5 seasons of Breaking Bad. But when Jesse Eisenberg ended up nabbing the role, many began scratching their heads - bald and follicled alike. Back in June, eye witnesses told Batman News that Eisenberg was filming a scene with hair that was long, wavy and dirty blonde. That description was reiterated earlier this week when it was reported that Jesse was sporting the same hair style while filming a night scene at a port in Detroit. So it looks like Jesse will in fact be sporting hair in Batman v Superman, right? Not so fast. Just this week, HenryCavillNews captured pics of Jesse on set looking more like Lex Luthor’s grandmother, than Metropolis’ power hungry genius. It’s not clear what Jesse is sporting under that fashionable accessory, but he does seem to have some kind of hair under there. Now, just yesterday, a fan snapped this pic with the star that showed him sporting a very different hair style than has been described and also one that’s very different from his normal hair. So much so, many are speculating that it’s likely a wig that is hiding his newly acquired chrome dome. So what’s going on? It’s clear they are trying to keep whether or not Lex Luthor will be bald a secret, but why? Our best guess is it will somehow factor into the plot of the film with him sporting hair early on and then becoming bald thanks to some kind of event involving Superman and or Batman. Of course, we’ll all find out for sure when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25th, 2016, but what do you think? Should Jesse Eisenberg play Lex bald and why all the secrecy?
