You have the option on the lg g3 to show contact info on the lock screen. This works best if you lose your phone and want to leave a phone number for someone to get in contact with you. To set this option up go into the settings on the g3 and scroll down to lock screen. Once there click on contact info for lost phone. Once you click that you can no write a message for your lock screen, and be sure to checkmark the top so it shows up. Now once you lock your lg g3 a little message will appear at the top.
